If you are interested in 'all things gardening' the Royal Oak Market is for you...

CCS Disability Action's community garden
If you are interested in learning about how to get more out of your garden this winter, be sure to catch up with our community garden volunteers (and previous participants of CCS Disability Actions's master gardener programme) at the market this Sunday.  You will find them in the working on our vegetable stall or in our community garden.  Our gardener, Scott, will also be on-hand to answer any questions you may have.

On the day you might also like catch our free presentations from native plant specialist Terry Hatch and the Auckland branch of the Cactus and Succulent Society:

Terry Hatch, Joy Plants – FREE demonstration
World renowned plant propagator and native plant specialist Terry Hatch shares his knowledge of growing ferns, rare native trees and shrubs and talks about the ecology of small gardens in the urban environment at 10.30am, 11.30am and 12.30am. He will also include information about what to plant to bring butterflies, birds, lizards and skinks into your garden. Visit www.joyplants.co.nz for more information.

The Cactus & Succulent Society of NZ Inc, Auckland Branch – FREE demonstration
Be sure to catch up with the Cactus & Succulent Society of NZ Inc, Auckland Branch – suppliers of the largest selection of cacti & succulents for sale in Auckland – when they demonstrate repotting and sowing seeds and answer any questions you may have on cacti and succulents at 11am, 12noon and 1pm.

So if you are interested in all things gardening, you should definitely pay us a visit this Sunday, to what is shaping up to be another great local event.
