11:00 AM -- Gordon Hill, horticulturalist and ornamental gardener, "Pruning your Fruit Trees"
Gordon will help you to get a handle on the pruning necessary to make your fruit trees productive. The class will take a walk around the garden, look at several types of trees and end with a practical experience working on a feijoa together.
Noon -- Alice Leonard, Angel Food chef, "Greening Your Diet"
Alice continues to provide you with some great vegan and vegetarian cooking ideas and will show you how and "Why what you eat is more important than what you drive."
1:00 PM -- Margaret Jones, Master Gardener presenter and original Soil & Health board member, "You are What You Eat"
Margaret will tallk about the importance of growing it, managing it, and preparing it--from "seed to toilet" as she puts it...
Also at the gardens we will have the Master Gardeners to answer your gardening questions and show you around the garden, a Treasure Hunt and Seed Planting for the kids
